The Gathering of the Vibes must be upon us. You can tell because The Durkins are playing at the Acoustic Cafe this Wednesday night. Jen and Johnny Durkin have appeared at GOTV just about every year of its existence with their band Deep Banana Blackout. These days, the band is more or less defunct (but not de-funked) but they huddle up and reunite once a year for their big hometown festival, and 2012 is no exception. To kick the festival off right, The Durkins (feat. some members of DBB) get the good vibes flowing early and intimately on the cozy Acoustic Cafe stage. Foul Mouth Jerk opens the show.
