The Black Crowes burst onto MTV in 1990 with their cover of Otis Redding's "Hard to Handle" and then kept the momentum going with the ballad "She Talks to Angels," selling millions of copies of their debut studio album Shake Your Money Maker and proving they were not a one-hit wonder. The band chugged along until 2002 when they went on hiatus, then reformed in 2005 with a tweaked lineup. They'll be at the Cap for two sold-out shows on Tuesday and Wednesday, but keep an eye on the internet for last-minute ticket releases so you can avoid losing an arm and a leg buying secondhand on Stub Hub.
