The Stamford Symphony Performs Beethoven's 9th Symphony on March 24
Beethoven's 9th Symphony is possibly the most triumphant piece of music ever written. While we may be singing the Pastoral 6th Symphony in our heads watching the world bloom around us, we always welcome the opportunity to hear the 9th played live. The Stamford Symphony will be joined by the Greenwich Choral Society this weekend for two over-the-top performances of the symphony as well as Brahms' "Schicksalslied, op. 54, Song of Destiny." If you'd like to chat with the conductor before the show, just come an hour early and he'll be on hand to answer questions. It will be epic, we promise.
