It's March, and that means it's time for all things Irish to invade local clubs and venues. The Saw Doctors are one of Ireland's all-time top-selling bands, and they'll be returning to the Ridgefield Playhouse Thursday night to get us pumped up for St. Patrick's Day, which is right around the corner. The band is known for their big singles like "She Loves Me," "About You Now" and "I Useta Lover." Recently, they recorded a cover of Petula Clark's "Downtown" (written by Tony Hatch) alongside Petula Clark herself.
