Dangermuffin Plays StageOne in Fairfield on March 9

Dangermuffin is a three-piece band from South Carolina that plays that down-home, old-timey Americana that's so popular these days, but blended with reggae, folk and even calypso. They've got beards, look scruffy and wield acoustic guitars. They're coming to StageOne Saturday on a tour that spans the East Coast from Massachusetts down to Florida. The band's latest album Olly Oxen Free is making a mark in the Roots Country charts produced by Roots Music Report and they hope to expand their audience on the festival circuit this summer.
