New Haven's Pardee-Morris House opens for the season Sun., June 3

Looking for something to do this weekend? Head to the Pardee-Morris House, one of Connecticut's oldest surviving historic structures, on Sun., June 3 from 2-5 p.m. Kids can learn how to plant herbs and learn about colonial gardens were used. They can also do a scavenger hunt inspired by historic photos of the East Shore neighborhood. Don't forget to take a tour of the house while you're there.

The house is open on Sundays through Aug. 26, free of charge, from noon-5 p.m.
