Help the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen contimue its mission of providing New Haven's hungry with food to eat at the Ride to End Hunger. This Sunday, bikers can partake in a 65-mile, scenic tour through rural Connecticut, with police escort, in an effort to raise much needed funds for the soup kitchen. Following the ride, riders and non-riders are welcomed to a BBQ lunch at Lighthouse Point Park's carousel. Registration takes place at the Sports Haven parking lot (600 Long Wharf Dr., New Haven) from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. There will be coffee, donuts and live music. Following the ride, head to Lighthouse Point Park (2 Lighthouse Rd., New Haven) at 1 p.m. for lots of food, a cash bar, live music and raffles hosted by Ms. Robin Banks.
