Bring your sand-control skills to Milford's Walnut beach this weekend for the annual Great American Sand Sculpture Competition sponsored by the Milford Fine Arts Council. Participants will have three hours, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., to craft their sandy masterpieces. Judging and prizes will then be awarded in a variety of categories. If you'd rather watch, bring a blanket and picnic and enjoy the show.
