There's time this summer to attend one more festival on the Riverfront, so here you go: the 12th annual Riverfront Dragon Boat and Asian Festival is a free two-day celebration of Asian culture that features dragon boat racing, authentic music and dance, lots of food, an Asian beer garden, martial arts expo and tons of stuff to keep your kids busy. (Hey, don't fret: soon they'll be back in school.) The races are colorful, the people are nice, and the atmosphere is infectiously pleasant, so head over and have fun.
