Artist Ed Johnetta Miller Teaches Quilt-Making at the Windsor Art Center
Internationally recognized fiber artist Ed Johnetta Miller presents an exhibit of quilts (like the one pictured above) at Windsor Art Center through March 2. Miller, who also teaches quilting (some work by her students appears in the exhibit alongside her own), plays the fabric like a jazzer takes to the saxophone, improvising and spinning colorful lines throughout the texture. Her work hangs in private and public collections throughout the country. Head to the hands-on workshop on Feb. 2 ($25; RSVP by Jan. 25) for a session with the master.
