There's lots going on at the Silvermine Arts Center this weekend, and the centerpiece, the 3rd Annual Silvermine ArtsFest on Friday, is totally free. Visitors can stroll the grounds and Sculpture Walk, enjoy Brazilian music by A Tale of Two Nations, Estrela Brilhante and Nation Beat, participate in hands-on art activities and watch a parade. Those willing to spend some cash can enroll in a Brazilian costume workshop led by Queen Marivalda, or an Afro-Brazilian drumming workshop taught by Mestre Walter, one of the leaders of Estrela Brilhante.
