Eating local is a trendy thing now, which is awesome on many levels. The Stamford Museum& Nature Center is helping to educate the public in such matters with a series of four cooking classes that utilize local ingredients. It's called Family Farm Fridays, and it begins this week with "Eggs & Chickens," during which you can visit the resident chickens at the nature center and collect their eggs. Next week, guests will make fresh butter and strawberry jam to take home.
