David Sedaris writes immensely popular books about his life, telling embarrassing but funny, self-depreciating, relatable tales that the public can't get enough of. He'll be at the Ridgefield Playhouse Wednesday to read from his newest book Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary, to have a conversation with journalist Morton Dead and to answer audience questions. If you haven't read his books, you probably still know him from NPR. He's a funny dude and he's sure to keep the audience engaged and amused.
The Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 East Ridge, Ridgefield. Wed., April 3, 7:30 p.m. $65-$75. (203) 438-5795. ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
