Rennie Harris Puremovement Dance Company Performs at The Quick Center in Fairfield on Feb. 22

Rennie Harris is an important figure when it comes to hip-hop dance, helping to bring the art form off the streets and into theaters and concert halls. He worked with the likes of Run-DMC and Kurtis Blow back in the day and then founded the company Rennie Harris Puremovement in 1992. See them Friday at the Quick Center as pat of their 20th anniversary tour, with a greatest hits program featuring seminal works spanning the past two decades.
