Margaret Grimes Exhibit at WCSU's Higgins Hall Gallery in Danbury

Margaret Grimes has been painting landscapes for over 40 years now, and she's pretty darn good at it. Her large-scale works that portray majestic wooded American scenes will be on display at WCSU's Higgins Hall to celebrate her retirement from her full-time faculty position at the university. Tangled thickets of undergrowth and clustered limbs are speckled with brilliant colors that give an otherworldly quality to the foliage she paints.
