George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are a couple no more, or are simply on the rocks, depending on which source you put more stock in Monday morning.
According to People and Britain's Sunday People, the two have called it quits after about two years of dating — meaning Clooney is once again a single man, a status the debonair leading man seems to enjoy.
But then there's TMZ, which said the couple are still living together but having "trouble in paradise" due to schedules that are keeping the two apart. (She's in the U.S. shooting her TV show "Supermarket Superstar," while he's been in Germany shooting "The Monuments Men," another Clooney actor-director-producer effort that is now in post-production, according to IMDb.)
Maybe she just hasn't had time to move her stuff?
The two took it public back in September 2011, when Clooney and the former WWE pro wrestler took her famed 42-inch-long legs for a stroll down the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Keibler, 33, was the one who called it off, according to People. They "quietly stopped being a couple" a few weeks ago.
"She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that," a source close to the couple told the mag.
Britain's Sunday People (via the Daily Mirror) told a slightly different story, quoting an insider who said, "George is quietly backing away from the relationship. It’s always the same. As soon as he feels a woman is getting too close he pulls back."
The couple were last photographed together publicly having a dinner in Berlin in mid-March, Radar Online said, but their Fourth of July activities were a big hint that something was up: She reportedly spent the holiday in Malibu, while the 52-year-old was photographed in Lake Como, Italy, a continent away.
Clooney and his previous girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, split in June 2011, shortly after she told a magazine she was a firm believer in marriage. Clooney has said he'll never marry again.
Stay tuned to find out whether Clooney is once again a single man.
