Owner Dave Gugliotti won’t spill the beans by identifying his local small-batch roaster, but he gladly explains how to make the perfect pot of coffee: "Bring water to boil at 212 [degrees Fahrenheit], let it sit a minute, then pour it over grounds in a French press." He also encourages customers to drink their coffee black without sugar, and to try his dark roast blends, described as "flavorful and aromatic, very well-balanced, without the acidity and bitterness people expect."
