Are you between the ages of 21 and 39? Are you looking for ways to enhance your career? If the Waterbury area is on your possible-work-location map, there's an event tonight that's just for you.
The Waterbury Regional Chamber's Young Professionals of Waterbury Region, or Y.P.O.W.R. for short, is hosting a get together tonight at Bartenders Academy for, well, young professionals 21 to 39. If you partake, you'll get a chance to flex your bartending muscles and learn more about the rapidly growing trade while networking and interacting and mingling and all that. But boozehounds beware, the mixed drinks are virgins. Aka no fun. We're just kidding! Not about the booze, though.
