Jeff Mangum, the semi-reclusive musician best known as the creative light behind Neutral Milk Hotel, will arrive in Hartford on Feb. 8 to play the Great Hall at Union Station, according to a press release from Manic Productions.

Also on the bill: the Music Tapes, fronted by Julian Koster and Robbie Cucchiaro. Koster was also a former member of Neutral Milk Hotel (he notably performed on the saw). Tall Firs opens the show.

Tickets are set at $35 ($30 advance). They'll go on sale this Thursday at noon at manicproductions.org and also at Redscroll Records in Wallingford. One buck per ticket will be added to benefit Children of the Blue Sky.
