Caveman to Play at Trinity's Austin Arts Center
Many people who are familiar with the experimental playwright Richard Maxwell know that he has never given a liberal arts college the right to perform any of his works -- until now. From November 15-17, Trinity College will perform Maxwell’s Caveman, a play that centers around a woman and two men. Maxwell, the artistic director of the New York City Players, has made quite a name for himself, having received a 2010 John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship and a Doris Duke Award in 2012. His plays have not only been presented in sixteen countries but translated into six languages. If you want to take part in a momentous occasion for a celebrated playwright and a liberal arts college, come and see this one-hour play for free.
