With 11 years helping runners achieve peak fitness levels, soundRUNNER general manager James Ranton and his mom, owner Julie Francis, believe customer service is the key to success. “We go through a whole process,” says Ranton, “what we call ‘MODE': measurement, observation, discussion and evaluation. We measure length and width, observe idiosyncrasies, discuss injuries and what their regiment is, so that we get to know more of what they're doing.” Within that framework, soundRUNNER hooks you up with the right shoes. “The footwear is all performance-based,” says Francis. “Our goal is to help people get out there and give them permission to take care of themselves.”
