Angel Paws Dog Grooming and Spa: Bono Hainsworth and Colleen Hainsworth. (May 4, 2012) |
1) Angel Paws Dog Grooming
With a brand new, 1,300 square-foot spa, outfitted with custom-built tubs, house fans for drying and privacy crates, and with a Reiki master for an owner, Angel Paws Dog Grooming and Spa definitely bolsters the health and well-being of its canine clientele. When they aren't drying off, "the dogs are running around the rest of the time they are with me," says owner Colleen Hainsworth. "I do unsocialized dogs after hours, along with dogs with disabilities. I love a challenge." In her spa, Hainsworth keeps the calm with crystals as she administers blueberry facials and massages along with more standard grooming fare. And when you go, keep an eye out for Bono, Hainsworth's English Springer Spaniel, who personally tests all the toys. "Having a calm energy keeps the peace," Hainsworth says. "It's very much a spa atmosphere with a playful tilt to it."
