Aidan Stewart is a great dude. Patrons of Geronimo have voted him as their favorite waitperson, and it probably starts with his 24-hour, natural smile. But the positive attitude behind the smile is even more important. "I do love New Haven and I think it has a cool restaurant scene," he says. "I like to get information to people and to recommend things to people." Since Geronimo has a wide selection of tequilas, which does Stewart recommend this spring, say, for sipping? "The Herradura Double Barrel Reposado," he says, without hesitation. "It's smooth, it's got hints of vanilla and cherry. It's perfect for the summer, and it's really good in a margarita as well." We're sold. Stewart was an SCSU graduate in 2006 who's lived in New Haven since fall of 2002. "I haven't left yet," he says. "I love this town."
