It takes a lot to make a guy get down on one knee. But L'Orcio's back patio has seen its fair share of proposals. It's an intimate location that during the season plays host to private parties, romantic dinners for two, and more. There's the abundance of wisteria, sure. And the flattering lighting. And the private setting, removed from street traffic, tucked behind L'Orcio in a courtyard. But don't forgot L'Orcio's excellent food – the restaurant has also won the Advocate's Best of New Haven awards for best chef, best Italian restaurant, and best restaurant overall.
