1) Delaney's Restaurant & Tap Room
Common sense says not to mix alcohol and a boisterous good time with many sharp objects hurtling through the air. Yet darts is a popular pub game anyway. At least at Delaney's Restaurant & Taproom, playing darts has never been safer or more fun. Delaney's reserves space for the many darts teams who patronize the bar in the form of a new dart room built during last year's remodeling. Top off the privacy with a personal cocktail waitress and it's easy to see why dart enthusiasts flock to Delaney's. General manager Amanda Ward says the bar's success with darts teams has more to do with what Delaney's offers everyone than how it treats its darts community. "It's more than just going to a bar and playing darts," she says. Delaney's darts players are also quite active with the bar's charitable doings, including their annual Chili Cookoff and Beer Festival, taking place this year on July 14.delaneystaproom.com
