1) Max's Oyster Bar
Head to Maxs Oyster Bar, this years winner for Best Seafood Restaurant, and read the menu: bronzed trout, Togarashi crusted yellowfin tuna, Loch Duart organic salmon, Costa Rican mahi mahi. Its an education. Some menu items need some splaining, but with one of the best trained, most helpful waitstaffs around, youll catch up quickly. Go for the raw bar and daily market catch, and stay for the lobster. (Theres ample land-fare as well, in case you end up with one of those cranky landlubbers at your table.)
