1) Rowayton Seafood
Diners at Rowayton Seafood can merrily pass the time between courses admiring the congregation of yachts, boats and dinghies on the Five Mile River. The restaurant, which opened in 1996, is a firm favorite among the locals and people working in the small village of Rowayton, near Norwalk. Executive chef Chris North has to trundle only as far as next door to get the freshest catch from Rowayton Seafood Market and the sumptuous restaurant menu includes steamed Maine lobsters, Montauk calamari and Ipswich clam bellies. It's open seven days for lunch and dinner and if you want to come by water instead of land, you should reserve a docking space for your yacht in advance.
