Tony Desjardin Sr. bought the popular Stamford bar Bradford’s, he took an existing bar and modified it slightly into the kind of place he wanted to hang out in. With the new Bradford’s location in Norwalk, he built it from the ground up. “The place I opened with my partner Charlie Hill in Norwalk was a blank slate,” says Desjardin. “I took everything I learned in Stamford in six years and applied it there. It’s kind of a palace. A great place to hang out.” It’s a sports bar and grill, spread out over 4,000 square feet with 24 taps, 29 big screen hi-def TVs, DJs and occasional live music, everything it needs to thrive in the already bustling SoNo scene. But there’s also a full menu, featuring everything from mozzarella sticks to a porterhouse steak. “We’re known for our wings and our wing sauces,” says Desjardin. “They’re all made from scratch.”
