Best drink to order during happy hour?
An espresso martini, it's not too sweet, it's well liked, it's not too strong. It's a good drink to start off the night with because it's got real espresso in it and it's only $6 during our happy hour.
What's the best drunk confession you've heard?
A man came in, was waiting at the bar for a blind date that he met on line. He said he was really looking forward to meeting her. When she arrived it was quite obvious that she was a he, a transsexual. I don't think he was expecting this at all but nontheless they both sat down and wound up hitting it off, that's the way it appeared.
What's the vibe like here?
It's a cozy, family oriented, rustic atmosphere. We have a stone fireplace with comfortable sofas in the bar area. The business in the bar does not take away from the atmosphere. People are relaxed here.
What wines do you recommend during the winter months?
The Rodney Strong Cabernet; it's a little on the peppery side. It is the top seller right now and accompanies hearty warm dishes like our prime rib.
