Best drink to order during happy hour?
The Corona Margarita is the way to go. It's a regular margarita on the rocks with a 7 oz. Coronita nestled into the ice. When you sip it through a straw, you taste the margarita. When you drink it from the glass, you taste the beer. Either way it's a refreshing combination.
You have a unique pouring system here. Tell me about it.
We have a state-of-the-art automatic draft system called Viso. After we ring in the beer order we use a magnetic key which activates our draft system to pour either a 16 oz. or 20 oz. beer accurately. We have about 18 different draft beers, ranging from Bud Light to Guinness, Blue Point Blueberry Ale to Berkshire Steele Rail. We also have a Chill Rite shot town that pours chilled shots of vodka and Jager and frost ramps that run across the bar to keep your drink cold until the very last sip.
What do you mix with the new flavored vodkas that are on the market?
A popular shooter that we are serving is made with Three Olives Loopi, a splash of milk and shaken with ice. It tastes like a bowl of Fruit Loops cereal. We also have Skyy blood orange, which we use in our cosmo to give it a twist. The Three Olives Dude goes well with Sierra Mist because it tastes like Mountain Dew.
