You have to be really good to your customers. It helps if you're good looking. Last summer we had one male bartender among all women and he made out quite well.

Bands and musicians are playing newer stuff. Mumford and Sons and Adele are played almost every night.
Does weather affect business?
For sure! We are completely dependent on weather. We have bands that play outside, we're on the shoreline and we are seasonal.
Most pathetic pickup line you've heard?
I don't get cliche pick up lines. I carry a bottle opener in my back pocket so I usually hear "I like where you put it." There are a lot of bikers who come by and they ask me if I want to go for a ride on their bike.
