Is there ever a bad time to do a shot?
From a guests perspective, last call would not be a wise time to do a shot because you have to leave and drive home. It takes a while to come down from that shot. Also you probably don't need that shot as much as you think you do.
Best drink to order during happy hour?
If you're here I would suggest the happy hour bourbon. We have a special nip of bourbon that changes every week. We have the biggest selection of bourbon here and I think people would be pleasantly surprised by the different types there are.
Do you consider yourself a mixologist?
Mixology is sort of this up and coming word. As a bartender you learn about ingredients and new spirits, the history of the spirit and how to incorporate it into new age cocktails. I think American cocktails are coming back especially whiskeys and bourbons; so yes at the end of the day I would call myself a mixologist.
If these walls could talk what would they say?
They would say " One more bourbon would make her hotter."
