What is the most exotic drink you make?
I make a drink, it's not on the menu but you can order it, it's called the Iceberg. I take a light beer, pour it into a pint glass and top it with a frozen margarita. This floater keeps your beer cold and gives it that lime taste and an extra zing. There's Bud Light Lime, there's Blue Moon, but the Iceberg is the way to go.
What's the vibe like here?
It changes. During the week it's a relaxed, family-oriented place. Fridays and Saturdays it's a big party. We have full rock bands and a dance floor and people come here to dance. We're right on Coventry Lake so we have a gigantic patio and a dock. I would say it's an over-25 crowd. People come here for the location, the view, to have a frozen cocktail and eat some seafood.
Biggest bartending pet peeve?
My biggest bartending pet peeve is when people flag me down and when I get to them they're not ready to order. Another one is when guests take both credit card slips. I'm able to cash out but I lose out on a tip.
