You Can Still Celebrate the Magic of Christmas at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme
This year, celebrate the season at The Magic of Christmas at the Florence Griswold Museum. This exhibition features a variety of exhibits. In the historic Griswold House, visitors can enjoy an authentic recreation of Christmas celebrations in 1910, complete with period decorations. Meanwhile, in the museum's Krieble Gallery, the work of local artists fills two exhibitions: White on White: Churches of Rural New England and The Art of First Lady Ellen Axson Wilson: American Impressionist. At the center of the museum is Miss Florence's Artist Tree, composed of more than 130 palettes donated by artists from across the country.
