Kehler Liddell Gallery welcomes two new exhibits this week, Sounding the Silence by Amy Browning and and Memory and Transformation by Joe Saccio. Browning's work is evidence of her altered painting style following a serious car accident. She paints on the floor by hovering over her canvas, instead of standing upright infront of an easel. Saccio's exhibition involves three six-foot sections of a hollos black oak tree trunk. Viewers can contemplate the tree's life and being while viewing it from the inside. Both exhibits open Oct. 11, through Nov. 11, with an opening reception Sun., Oct. 14 from 3-6 p.m.
