Take a trip up the shoreline to Essex and visit downtown's newest art gallery: Art Essex. Located at 10 Main St., Art Essex's first exhibit hosts seascapes by New York City's Richard Orient and Ivoryton ceramicist Hayne Bayless. Art Essex plans to showcase local artists alongside work from owner George Billis Gallery's artists as well. The show is up through Sept. 7.
