New Haven's own artist-run City Gallery, located in East Rock, presents Over Time, an exhibition introducing new gallery member Susan Newbold, and featuring work from gallery members Karen Wheeler and Barbara Harder through July 29. Newbold, an award-winning mixed-media artist, explores the spiritual movement of nature while combining various art techniques to portray common forms found in natural landscapes. Her mark-making and diverse use of line and color favors the inherent movement of nature while giving into its repetitive growth and variety. Stop by for a closing reception July 29, from 2-4 p.m.
