New Haven's City Gallery unveils a new exhibit by artist Karen Wheeler this week. Wheeler's mixed media works explore her vision of what lies "beneath the surface," detailing both the uncertainty and flow of periods of transition. Undercurrents runs from Feb. 28 to March 24, with the opening reception on March 2, 2-5 p.m.
