Poet, novelist and social activist Langston Hughes would have celebrated his 111th birthday this month. In honor, local artist Katro Storm has curated A Tribute to Langston Hughes, a collection of performance, visual and video art on display at the Sumner McKnight Crosby Jr. Gallery. The opening reception, on Fri., Feb. 22, from 5-7 p.m., will feature a special performance by "Ade" Anthony Thompson, to be filmed by NJ Martin and shown in the gallery from March 4 to the exhibit's close on April 5.
