DUSTIN BYRNE, 'FRANKEN NOID' (February 12, 2013) |
In Connecticut, we love our pizza. It's more than just a gooey, melty, warm and comforting food. It's something our state does well that we're damn proud of. This weekend at the Freight Street Gallery in Waterbury, get a glimpse at the way more than 20 artists feel about pizza at the show Cheesie Dream. Works on display range from sculpture to paintings to abstract representations, that they hope will have you thinking "outside the pizza box," as they say.
