Florence Griswold Museum Offers a Winter Wonderment Weekend

Get the family out of the house this weekend. Old Lyme's Florence Griswold Museum hosts a Winder Wonderment Weekend on Feb. 9 and 10. On both days, visitors will be able to view the museum's newest exhibit, Arthur Heming: Chronicler of the North. Hands-on craft projects and scavenger hunts also await you. And each day there's a special program for the kiddos: Saturday's Toe Jam Puppet Band's "Winter Variety Show" (2 p.m.) and Brrrrrrrrr!—Animals in Winter on Sunday (1:30 & 3 p.m.).
