New Exhibit at New Haven's City Gallery Showcases the Versatility of Books

With the new year comes a resolve almost universally, it seems, to read more. Artist Shelby Head has taken a different approach to books, incorporating them into her artwork. See her new show Open Book, opening at City Gallery in New Haven on Jan. 3, where she uses paper to showcase the versatility of books and what they contain. The opening reception will be on Sat., Jan. 12, from 2-5 p.m., or Sat. Jan. 19, if it snows.
