This weekend, the artist residency program at I-Park Foundation in East Haddam presents the culmination of a three-week on-site residency of 14 artistis. The 2013 Environmental Art Bienniale features site-specific works executed from concept to reality within the three weeks. On Sat., Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m., I-Park holds a fundraiser that includes a wine and dinner reception with the participating artists, a preview of the 2013 Environmental Art Trail at dusk, and a live, world premiere performance courtesy of multi-media artist Jayoung Chung. On Sun., Sept. 22 at 2 p.m., the art trail is open to the public, for free, but you must reserve a spot prior to Sept. 19 to make sure you get in.
