Cape Cod-based painter Jane Bunker's 16 works on display at the New Britain Museum of American Art fuse two experiences that have shaped her life: her psychology career and her myopia, which went undiagnosed when she was a child. Her near-photographic images, including "Gladiola and Iris" (pictured), are blurred and hazy, as though they were being viewed through a window on a rainy day. In addition to single images, Illuminations also includes diptychs, triptychs and a quadriptych. On display until Aug. 18.
