Hartford Public Library Hosts 'American Idol' For Writers
Got an idea for a book? Don't keep it to yourself. Tell the world. In fact, go after that book deal. Start here: Hartford Public Library host Arielle Eckstut and David Henry Sterry (pictured), aka the Book Doctors and co-authors of the successful writer's instruction manual The Essential Guide to Getting Your Book Published on Saturday. Pitchapalooza has been described as American Idol for writers: 20 audience members, selected at random, are given one minute to pitch their books.
