'Shadows' Exhibit at The Mercurial Gallery in Danbury Features Works From Connecticut Artists

Shadows is the current exhibit at the Mercurial Gallery in Danbury, and it features paintings and sculptures by Connecticut residents Christine Mitchell and Henry Caserotti. (Pictured is "Romeo and Juliet" by Caserotti, oil on canvas.) The show opened last week, but they saved the opening reception for New Year's Eve so that it could be part of First Night Danbury. The festivities will include a shadow image painting activity, a performance by Oregonian folk musician Isaac Pierce and, of course, refreshments.
