The inspiration to create can come from a variety of sources. In Greek mythology, muses were considered goddesses. In the Westport Arts Center's new exhibit Muse, there are many different interpretations of this theme that view this genesis of the motivation to create with a similar reverence. After all, obsession can't exist without something or someone to obsess over.
