Westport Library Celebrates the 2012 Election Year With Exhibit of Political Cartoons by Matt Davies
Matt Davies doesn't have to try very hard to make politicians look ridiculous in his cartoons — they do it to themselves. And that's why it really hurts (if you want to put it in terms of Radiohead lyrics). The Westport Library is celebrating this election year with an exhibit of Davies' political cartoons related to the 2012 race, ending on Election Day itself, November 8th. His work was been in the New York Times, Newsweek, The Washington Post, Mad Magazine, Time and many, many more, and he's a Staples High graduate too. It's always nice to see a local succeeding in a career based around mockery of the elite.
