22nd Annual Silvermine School of Art Student Exhibit (Promotional Photo / June 19, 2012) |
Over the past few months, art students have been holed up at Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, learning to paint, sculpt, take photos and make prints, ceramics and jewelry. For the 22nd year in a row, the Silvermine Galleries are going to host an exhibit to show off the students' progress, be them children or adults. Awards will be given, with Sacred Heart University's professor Nathan Lewis as juror, to highlight the cream of the crop. Stop by on Sunday between 2 and 4 p.m. to meet some of the artists and instructors involved at a reception.
