"Samesex" Exhibit on Display at City Lights Gallery in Bridgeport
Same-sex marriage has been legal for almost five years now in Connecticut, and City Lights Gallery is celebrating with its third annual Samesex exhibit, a show that will reflect the "current LGBTQ zeitgeist." Connecticut may be ahead of the curve on this issue, but the majority of the nation is still catching up. The show opens Thursday with a reception hosted by BARE Tapas & Vino, featuring works by Robert Casido, Allan Dudek, Dandte Gennaro, Delayne Gratopp, Lori Petcher, Danny Ruiz, Felipe Soltero, Giselle Vaz and many more (pictured is "A Scout is Proud" by Ricky Mestre).
